IN.SE.CON 2026 to Address Cybersecurity, AI, and Dual-Use Tech in Poznań

IN.SE.CON 2026 to Address Cybersecurity, AI, and Dual-Use Tech in Poznań

Warsaw, Poland – The International Cybersecurity and Breakthrough Technologies Congress (IN.SE.CON 2026), co-organized by Poland’s Ministry of National Defence and MTP Group, will take place on April 15–16 in Poznań, bringing together government officials, military leaders, business executives, and cybersecurity experts. The event will focus on pressing digital security challenges, including cyberattacks, artificial intelligence risks, dual-use technologies, and the protection of critical infrastructure.

This year’s edition introduces a three-track format, tailored to policymakers, business leaders, and operational specialists. The Main Stage will host high-level discussions featuring representatives from government administrations, military command, international institutions, and industry leaders. Confirmed speakers include officials from the Ministry of Digitization and the Ministry of National Defence, alongside Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, the Polish astronaut who conducted research during the IGNIS mission aboard the International Space Station in 2024. Key debates will explore emerging warfare technologies and Poland’s role in shaping future innovations.

New Focus Areas: Dual-Use Tech, Space, and Startups

For the first time, IN.SE.CON will dedicate sessions to dual-use technologies, space applications, and unmanned systems. A Polish startup zone will also debut, showcasing domestic companies offering proprietary cybersecurity solutions.

“We aim to create a platform where innovators can connect with public sector representatives, particularly those linked to defence, internal security, and administration,” said Paweł Dziuba, Director of the Cybersecurity Department at the Ministry of National Defence. “IN.SE.CON should serve as a bridge between cutting-edge solutions and institutional needs.”

Specialized Tracks for Professionals and Business Leaders

The Professionals’ Stage will cater to cybersecurity practitioners, including SOC teams, CSIRT/CERT units, Red and Blue Teams, and penetration testers. Sessions will cover preventive measures, active defence strategies, and crisis management, with deep dives into MITRE ATT&CK frameworks, IoT attack chains, XDR solutions, and ransomware response scenarios.

Meanwhile, the Business & Local Government Stage will address executives, critical infrastructure operators, and municipal leaders. Discussions will focus on NIS 2 and CER directives, sector-specific Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISACs), and AI-related risks such as prompt injection and data leaks. Additional topics include VR-based training, urban cyber resilience, and risk management frameworks.

“Our goal is to ensure every participant finds relevant, actionable insights,” said Witold Lipiński, Director of IN.SE.CON. “The Programme Council, composed of experienced specialists, has curated content to meet the needs of both technical experts and decision-makers.”

Expo Zone and Hands-On Cyber Challenges

The congress will feature an EXPO area, where exhibitors will present next-gen cybersecurity tools and services. Attendees can also engage in CyberHackLab, an interactive space offering real-world cybersecurity challenges, from password cracking to vulnerability assessments based on actual incident scenarios.

Registration and further details are available on the official IN.SE.CON website.

The event underscores Poland’s growing role in shaping cybersecurity policies and fostering innovation in an era of escalating digital threats. With a multidisciplinary approach, IN.SE.CON 2026 aims to strengthen collaboration between public institutions, private enterprises, and technology pioneers.
